Say “Foo”, I know you can
Foo Fighters have been booked as headliners for next summer’s Provinssirock in Seinäjoki.
I’ve actually never visited the festival, and this might be just the incentive to pay a visit to Etelä-Pohjanmaa just before midsummer. Of course, I said the same thing when Rammstein and Mars Volta dropped by, so the enthusiasm should be taken with an industrial-sized grain of salt. Foo Fighters is the only band signed up thus far, and if the rest of the harvest isn’t very good, a single-day trip might be just what the doctor ordered.
Haven’t yet even picked up their last year’s album. Wasn’t too thrilled about 2005’s In Your Honor double album, but based on the few songs off this I’ve heard thus far, this ought to be good stuff.
