The subject is a species of domestic succulent, goldmoss stonecrop. And the image is indeed heavily cropped on account of less than perfect focus.

This week’s photo friday challenge is mountain.
My take on the subject is the image below, a scene from rain-misted Blue Mountains near Sydney. While the region seems to be nothing more than gently billowing rainforest, the looks are deceptive. The lush green covers steep cliffs and mean-looking outcrops.
