… what a night for Chris Kunitz

Spent friday evening playing a 16-participant tournament of 2-on-2 table hockey. And enjoyed the four hours spent in Ylähuone a lot.
Managed to improve slightly over the previous tourney. Goals were still tough to come by (especially in the first few games), but all in all victory was not as elusive as it was a couple of months ago.
Placed third in the division (eighth overall, if my gross approximation of the rankings was anywhere close to the truth), and got soundly beaten in the first round of playoffs. By a team that ended up in the final, so the loss was pretty much expected.
- Comeback victories: one (two comeback losses do darken the picture somewhat.)
- Goals scored on a neignboring rink: One, not by me (first ever such a shot.)
- Post-goal high fives and handshakes exchanged: Loads and loads.
- Most own goals in a single game: Two, sadly by me (and we certainly lost the game.)
- Appreciation of high tables and good lighting: Much.
- Goalie changes following a 3-0 beatdown: Two (and lost both games.)
- Thoughts about Ace of Spades being much longer than remembered: Some.
- Goalies maimed: None, so the spare five did not have to be deployed.
- Bottles of excellent Danish IPA consumed in the nachspiel in Angleterre: One, and am definitely going back for more (and to learn the name of the brew.)
- Coming back for Romuralli V: You bet!

Heh, mainio yhteenveto! Ylläripylläri, Motörhead/tabletophockey -soundtrackilla soi sekä We are Motörhead että Ace of Spades peräkkäin - kukaan ei huomaa milloin biisi vaihtuu, sen verran samanlaisia ovat! Juu, kohti Romuralli V:sta! Go Habs Go!
