e-mail rules, take 0
Seth Godin has published a mostly useful list of e-mail rules.
“Mostly”, in the sense that the lengthy list is missing two key rules:
- Do not top-post.
- Always use plain text if at all feasible.
But seriously, this might be a perfect time to dig out “e-mail rules” we wrote at Nokia back in ‘99 and check for omitted things. Things haven’t really changed much since. That is, if those got stored anywhere back in the day, have to check work laptop.
