Hulk get one star. Hulk unhappy. Hulk smash.
In probably the best movie review in a long while Guardian’s Peter Bradshaw massacres the new Hulk movie.
The entire review is written in the way Hulk speaks, and reading is advised only when not eating or drinking.
Smash important, obviously. Smash Hulk’s USP. What Hulk smash most? Hulk smash all hope of interesting time in cinema. Hulk take all effort of cinema, effort getting babysitter, effort finding parking, and Hulk put great green fist right through it.
I wasn’t a big fan of Ang Lee’s 2003 effort on the angry green mutant, but this new movie seems to be pandering to the lowest common denominator. Off the “flicks to catch”, that’s for sure. Especially when Iron Man still remains unseen.
