The NFL playoffs begin today.
Niners are out of contention (that’s what a 0-5 start does, even in the lowly NFC West).
Both of my second-string teams are on the field in the wildcard games.
Saints and Colts suffered a lot from injuries this season – the running offenses of both teams were pretty much scuttled for the majority of regular season.
Colts gets their 1-2 running punch back with both Addai and Brown returning to the grid. And Dominic Rhodes from UFL as well.
Saints has Marques Colston on the field again, he took the last week off to rest his ailing legs.
But neither game is a certainty – both teams have exhibited severe inconsistency in the 16 first games.
Time to stock up on salsa and beer.
